Reading, Pa.: The road proved to be a rough one for the SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse team on Tuesday as the Fighting Tigers dropped a 15-4 decision to Alvernia University in non-conference action. The loss drops Cobleskill to 2-2 overall on the year while Alvernia improves to 2-4 overall on the season.

Once again the Fighting Tigers inability to take care of the ball proved costly as 31 Cobleskill turnovers and nine failed clearing opportunities led the way to the loss.
Senior attackman Alex Acompora, Harrison, N.Y., Harrison High School, was a bright spot in defeat for the visitors with a pair of goals in the contest.

Cobleskill will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Elmira, N.Y. to meet Elmira College in non-conference play beginning at 12:00 p.m.
