Castleton, Vt.: The road proved to be a rocky one for the SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team on Wednesday evening as the Fighting Tigers dropped a 3-1 non-conference decision to the Spartans of Castleton State University on Tuesday even by set scores of: 25-13, 25-17, 20-25 and 25-20. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 3-2 overall on the season to date while the Spartans improve to 2-3 overall on the year.

Senior outside hitter Kasey Williams, Wallkill, N.Y., Wallkill High School/Dutchess Community College, recorded a team high of 10 kills to go with 11 digs on the night while senior libero Gabby Clark, Oneida, N.Y., Oneida High School, continued her strong campaign with a game high of 19 digs on the evening.

The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Thursday September 15^th when they travel to Poultney, Vt. to face the Mountaineers of Green Mountain College in non-league action with first serve at 7:00 p.m.
