Cobleskill, N.Y.: After seeing a late two-goal lead evaporate in regulation the SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team posted a dramatic 3-2 overtime victory over the visiting Express of Wells College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action on Saturday afternoon. The victory evens the Fighting Tigers overall record at 3-3 on the campaign with a 2-1 mark in conference play while Wells falls to 1-2-2 overall and 0-1-1 versus the league.
With the score tied at 2-2 and less than a minute remaining in the first overtime period Fighting Tiger freshman forward
Mame Amar, Manhattan, N.Y., Liberty High School, found himself wide open 18 yards away from the net on a perfect pass from freshman midfielder
Kalifala Konneh, Bronx, N.Y., Fredrick Douglas Academy, then promptly rifled a shot into the back of the net for  his second goal of the day and the game winner.
Cobleskill also received a tally from junior forward David Volsatka, Schenevus, N.Y., Schenevus High School, assisted by freshman forward Thiero Ka, Bronx, N.Y., Banana Kelly High School.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Sunday, September 18
th, when they travel to Keuka Park, N.Y. for a NEAC meeting with the Wolves of Keuka College with kick-off at 3:00 p.m.
