Albany, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team took to the road On Thursday evening dropping a 3-0 decision to the host Gators of Sage College in non-conference action at Sage's Kahl Gymnasium. With the loss the Fighting Tigers move to 6-6 overall on the season while Sage improves to 5-9 overall on the campaign.

Emilie Reimer, Mattituck, N.Y., Mattituck High School, posted a match high 10 kills on the evening for the Orange & Black while senior
Casey Haughney, Melrose, N.Y., Hoosic Valley High School, playing in the setter positon passed out 13 assists to go with four kills, three digs and two service aces on the evening. Freshman outside hitter
Rachel Sherman, Galway, N.Y., Galway High School, also turned in a strong effort for the visitors with 17 digs and two kills on the evening.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action over the weekend when they travel to Abington, Pa. on Saturday September 24 for a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Crossover Weekend hosted by the Nittany Lions of Penn State Abington. On Saturday Cobleskill will meet the host Nittany Lions to open the event at 12:00 p.m. then return to the court at 2:00 p.m. to fact the Lions of Bryn Athyn College. The Orange & Black will then close their event weekend schedule on Sunday September 25 when they meet the Eagles of the College of Saint Elizabeth at 11:00 a.m.Â
