Lancaster, Pa.: Once again the road proved to be a difficult place for the SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team as the Fighting Tigers found themselves at the short end of a 4-0 decision to the host Chargers of Lancaster Bible College on Saturday afternoon in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 2-6 overall including a 0-5 mark in NEAC play while the Chargers now improve to 6-2 overall including a perfect 5-0 conference record.

On an afternoon that saw Cobleskill get outshot 53-0 and out corner kicked 13-to-1; Fighting Tiger freshman goalie Samantha Springstead, Staten Island, N.Y., Notre Dame Academy, turned in another solid showing in net recording 26 saves between the pipes in a losing effort.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Sunday afternoon, September 25^th, when they complete the road trip by traveling Reading, Pa. for a NEAC meeting with the Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks with kick-off slated for 12:00 p.m.
