Reading, Pa.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team closed out their weekend North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) road trip in rough fashion on Sunday afternoon as the Fighting Tigers fell to three-time defending league champion Penn State Berks on the Nittany Lions home turf by a 13-0 margin. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 2-7 overall on the campaign including a 0-6 mark in NEAC action while the Nittany Lions now move to 5-2-1 overall including a perfect 5-0 record in conference play.
The home team decided the issue in the first 10 minutes of play scoring four times to easily outdistance the visitors. On the afternoon the Fighting Tigers once again could muster little offense taking only one shot in the contest while Berks took 43 shots in the game including 33 on net.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday October 1
st when return to Pennsylvania traveling to Abington, Pa. for a NEAC contest versus the Nittany Lions of Penn State Abington with kick-off scheduled 1:00 p.m. then going to Bryn Athyn, Pa. on Sunday October 2
nd for a league match-up with the Lions of Bryn Athyn College with kick-off slated for 12:00 p.m.
