Cazenovia, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team took to the road on Wednesday evening to post an 84-75 win over the host Wildcats of Cazenovia College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action. With the victory the Fighting Tigers improve to 2-16 overall on the year including a 2-10 record versus league opponents while the loss now drops the Wildcats to 3-15 overall with a 2-8 conference record.
With Cobleskill trailing 39-37 at the half, senior swingman
Joel Costello, Middleburgh, N.Y., Middleburgh High School/Tompkins-Cortland Community College, exploded for 25 points in the second half as part of a game high 43 point effort to lead the Fighting Tigers to the victory.
Costello's 43 points are the most points scored in a single game since the program moved to the NCAA Division III level in 2008. He also contributed a team high eight rebounds to go with three assists in the win.

Brian Jackson, Bronx, N.Y., Global Enterprise Academy, added nine points and five rebounds for the Orange & Black while junior guard
Malik Chambers, West Point, N.Y., James I. O'Neil High School, added nine points, four rebounds and three assists on the evening.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday February 4
th when they travel to Marcy, N.Y. to fact the Wildcats of SUNY Polytechnic Institute in NEAC play beginning at 3:00 p.m.
