Lawson and Preston Post Double/Doubles as Cobleskill Tops Cazenovia College

Cazenovia, N.Y.:  The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team took to the road on Wednesday evening to post an important 62-51 victory in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play over the host Wildcats of Cazenovia College. With the win the Fighting Tigers move to 12-7 overall on the season including an 8-4 record versus league opponents while the Wildcats now drop to 3-14 overall with a 2-9 conference record.

Playing for the second time against each other in seven day ;the Fighting Tigers and the Wildcats slugged it out throughout the contest which was a hard hitting defensive affair as neither team offensively shot well with Cobleskill hitting on 20-of-66, 30.3%, from the field and Cazenovia fairing only slightly better at 16-of-52, 30.8%, on the evening.
