Marcy, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team saw their six-game winning streak end on Saturday afternoon as the Fighting Tigers lost to the North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) North Division leading SUNY Polytechnic Institute squad by a 75-53 margin at the Wildcats' Campus Center Gym. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 12-8 overall on the season including a 8-5 mark in NEAC play while the Wildcats move to 18-2 overall with a 13-1 record versus conference opponents.
The Wildcat defense proved to be the difference in the contest as SUNY Poly turned 17 Cobleskill turnovers into 24 points while holding the visitors to 18-of-51, 35.3%, from the field on the afternoon.

Addy Lawson, Milford, N.Y., Milford High School, continued her strong play for the Orange & Black with a team high of 14 points to go with eight rebounds and a pair of blocked shots while senior guard
Shiann Coons, Albany, N.Y., Bishop Maginn High School/Schenectady Community College, came off the bench to hit for 11 points and pass out two assists.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Wednesday February 8
th when they travel to Morrisville, N.Y. for a NEAC meeting the Mustangs of Morrisville State College beginning at 5:00 p.m.
