Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team lost to the visiting Sage College Gators Wednesday night 3 games to none. The loss dips Cobleskill 1 game below .500 on the year at 4-5, while the win moves Sage to 5-10. Cobleskill was competitive in all 3 games falling 20-25, 21-25, and 23-25.
Cobleskill was on the constant attack but just fell short in finishing. Sophomore, Emily Potter would lead the team with 19 attacks and 5 kills. On the defensive side Potter would also chip in with 11 digs. Sophomore, Dani Webb would also factor in on defense with 10 total digs. Freshman, Karyn Knaul lead the team accounting for 4 of the 7 team service aces.
Cobleskill will return to action on Saturday September 23rd when they host a tri-match between Lancaster Bible College and Southern Vermont College. The action starts at 11am at Iorio Gynmasium.
