Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team returned home on Tuesday afternoon to fall to the visiting Mountaineers of Southern Vermont College (SVC) 3-0 in non-conference action at the Iorio Gymnasium by set scores of: 25-22, 25-11 and 25-18. With the loss the Fighting Tigers are now 1-13 overall on the season while Southern Vermont moves to 14-2 overall.

Freshman setter Alyssa Boyles, Pine Plains, N.Y., Pine Plains High School, turned in a solid effort in defeat for the Orange & Black with 13 assists and eight digs while junior libero Mikayla Catherman, Marcellus, N.Y., Marcellus High School, added 11 digs on the evening for the home team.

The Fighting Tigers will in action on Thursday October 4^th  when they travel to Delhi, N.Y. for a non-conference meeting with the Broncos of SUNY Delhi with first serve slated for 7:00 p.m. then head to Williamstown, Pa. on Saturday October 6^th for North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) for meetings with the Wildcats of Penn College at 11:00 a.m. and the Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks at 1:00 p.m.
