Aurora, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team's earned their first North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play-off bid since 2009 on Saturday afternoon as the Fighting Tigers took to the road on Saturday to post an exciting 3-2 road win over The Express of Wells College in league action. With the win the Fighting Tigers move to 9-8-1 overall on the season including a 6-3-1 mark in league action while Wells closes the year with a 4-13 overall record with a 3-8 record in NEAC play.

Patrick McGovern, Congleton, England, Congleton High School, took a pass from sophomore forward
Moussa Bamba, Bronx, N.Y., Fredrick Douglas Academy, and blasted it home to give Cobleskill a 2-1 advantage. McGovern then scored unassisted in the 85
th minute to put the game away at 3-1 as the home team scored in the 89
th minute to make it 3-2.

Chris Gardener, Hudson, N.Y., Hudson High School, also scored for Cobleskill on the afternoon on an assist from junior
Emile Vwaza, Manhattan, N.Y., Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis High School, in the 42
nd minute to tie the contest at 1-1.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to SUNY Oneonta in Oneonta, N.Y. to face the Mustangs of Morrisville State College in league action with kick-off slated for 2:00 p.m. in a contest that will determine the final seedings for the NEAC Tournament.Â
