Auburndale, Fla.: The SUNY Cobleskill baseball team closed out their southern trip at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational over the weekend falling twice to St. Olaf by scores of 14-1 and 13-1 at the Lake Myrtle Park Main Field to fall to 0-8 overall on the season.
 
The Fighting Tigers scored their only run in the opener in the fifth inning when junior second baseman Lucas Butcher, Bainbridge, N.Y., Bainbridge High School/Mohawk Valley Community College, who was 1-for-3 in the contest, singled home freshman designated hitter Nick Carozza, Milton, N.Y., Marlboro High School,  who had doubled as part of a 1-for-3 afternoon at the plate.
 
In the second game the Fighting Tigers only two hits of the game led to their run in the third inning when freshman right fielder Zyere Molinaro, Summit, N.Y., Cobleskill-Richmondville High School, singled and scored on a double by freshman left fielder Jacob Hoffee, Lyndonville, N.Y.,  Lyndonville Central High School.
 
Cobleskill is tentatively scheduled to return to action, weather and field conditions permitting, on Wednesday March 29 when they host the College of New Rochelle for a pair of non-conference games beginning at 12:00 p.m. followed on Thursday March 30 when Centenary College is scheduled to play a pair of non-league contests at Fighting Tiger Field beginning at 12:00 p.m.
