Bryn Athyn, Pa.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's lacrosse took to the road on Wednesday evening to open their 2018 season by losing to the Lions of Bryn Athyn College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) by a 13-7 margin. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 2-3 overall including a 0-1 record in conference play while the Lions are now 2-5 with a 1-0 mark in NEAC action.
 
The Fighting Tigers struggled on defense throughout the contest allowing the Lions 43 shots on the evening while trailing in the ground ball department by a 33-to-21 margin.
 
Sophomore midfielder Kieran Tierney, Marcellus, N.Y., Marcellus High School, continued his strong play for Cobleskill with a game high of four goals on the evening while junior attackman Sean Degnan, Monroe, N.Y., Monroe-Woodbury High School, scored twice.
 
The Orange & Black will return to action on Wednesday April 4^th when they travel to Riverdale, N.Y. to meet the Dolphins of Mount Saint Vincent in non-league action with face-off at 4:30 p.m.
