Chicopee, Mass.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team dropped a pair of contests on Saturday at the 2018 Blazer Invitational Tournament losing the day's opening contest to the host Blazers of Elms College 3-0 by set scores of 25-15, 25-21 and 26-24 prior to falling to the Falcons of Albertus Magnus College 3-0 by set scores of 25-20, 25-19 and 25-23. With the defeats the Fighting Tigers open the year with a 0-3 overall record.

Junior libero Mikayla Catherman, Marcellus, N.Y., Marcellus High School, posted 46 digs on the day in six sets for an average of 7.66 digs per set on the afternoon.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Tuesday September 4^th when they travel to Castleton, Vt. for a non-conference contest versus host Castleton University with first serve slated for 7:00 p.m.
