Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team opened the 2018 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) campaign by dropping a 3-1 decision to the visiting wolves of Keuka College by set scores of 25-23, 25-19, 21-25 and 9-25 in the Fighting Tigers home opener at the Iorio Gymnasium. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 1-5 overall on the season with a 0-1 mark in NEAC action while the Wolves even their overall record at 5-5 with a 1-0 record in conference play.

Fighting Tiger sophomore middle hitter Karyn Knaul, Central Square, N.Y., Paul V. Moore High School, had six kills and two solo blocks on the night while junior libero Mikayla Catherman, Marcellus, N.Y., Marcellus High School, continued her strong defensive work with 22 digs to go with five service aces.

Cobleskill will return to action on Thursday September 13^th when they travel to Marcy, N.Y. for a NEAC contest versus the Wildcats of SUNY Polytechnic Institute with first serve scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
