Women's Soccer Blanked by Penn College 5-0 in NEAC League Action

Fighting Tigers Offensive Road Struggles Continue in 5-0 Loss to Host Wildcats


Williamstown, Pa.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team opened a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) weekend road trip on Saturday by losing to the host Wildcats of Penn College by a score of 5-0 in league action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers move to 4-5 overall including a 1-3 record in league play while the Wildcats are now 7-1 overall including a 5-0 mark in NEAC action.

Once again the Cobleskill offensive attack could not find its footing on the road as the Fighting Tigers were outshot 21-to-5 on the afternoon and out corner kicked 6-to-1.
The Orange & Black will conclude the weekend on Sunday when they travel to Reading, Pa. for a league meeting with the Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks beginning at 12:00 p.m.
