Cobleskill, N.Y.: Returning home after an extended road trip, the SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team came back to the friendly confines of the Iorio Gymnasium on Wednesday night to post a hard fought 66-61 overtime victory over The Express of Wells College in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. With the overtime win the Fighting Tigers move to 9-6 overall including a 3-4 record in NEAC action while The Express falls to 2-15 overall including a 0-6 mark in league play.

Addy Lawson, Milford, N.Y., Milford High School, and junior center
Stacey Sprague, Grand Gorge, N.Y., Roxbury High School, keyed a 9-0 Cobleskill run to close out the contest scoring eight of the team's nine points to secure the win.
Lawson finished a team high of 17 points to go with nine rebounds, five assists and three steals while Sprague chipped in six points, eight rebounds and two assists in the win. Sophomore guard/forward
Monique Britton, Westerlo, N.Y., Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School, also played a major role in the victory with a double/double with 10 points and 10 rebounds on the evening.
The Orange & Black received additional contributions from freshman guard
TyLysa Martinez, Coram, N.Y., Longwood High School, who scored nine points to go with five rebounds and from sophomore point guard
Yonique Hill, Baldwin, N.Y., Uniondale High School, who scored seven points and passed out four assists in a reserve role.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday January 26
th when they host the Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks in NEAC play with tip-off scheduled for 1:00 p.m. prior to hosting the Bengals of the University of Maine at Fort Kent for a non-conference contest beginning at 1:00 p.m.
