Clarks Summit, Pa.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team returned to action after their winter break on Monday evening overpowering the host Defenders of Clarks Summit University by a 95-59 margin in non-league action. With the win the Fighting Tigers improve to 7-4 overall on the season while the Defenders now drop to 0-13 overall on the campaign.
The Fighting Tigers opened fast on their way to one of their best offensive efforts in recent memory jumping out to an early 15-4 lead from which they never looked back as Cobleskill went into the half leading 46-23. The Orange & Black shot an impressive 39-for-67 from the floor, 58.2%, including 9-for-23, 39.1%, from three-point range as 13 different players scored in the contest.
Defensively Cobleskill also made a strong statement forcing the defenders into 26 turnovers which led to 33 points  for the Fighting Tigers on the evening.
Sophomore point guard
Scott Glasheen, Voorheesville, N.Y., Voorheesville High School, led the team in scoring with 19 points, connecting on all eight of his field goal attempts including all three of his three point efforts, to go with three assists and two steals with his backcourt partner senior swingman
Dashown Nelson, Brooklyn, N.Y., High School of Telecommunication Arts & Technology/SUNY Broome, chipping in 16 points, two assists, two rebounds, two steals and two blocked shots on the night.
Sophomore forward
Kahlil Wilson, New York, N.Y., The Renaissance Charter School, also played a major role in the win with: 11 points, eight rebounds, four assists and three steals. Â

Cobleskill will next be in action on Wednesday December 9
th when they host the Mustangs of Morrisville State in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action at the Iorio Gymnasium beginning at 7:00 p.m.
