Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team clinched a spot in the 2019 North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Championship Tournament on Saturday by defeating a stubborn herd of Bison from Gallaudet University by a 4-2 margin at the Soccer/Lax Complex in their final regular season home game on "Senior Day". With the win the Fighting Tigers improve to 8-4-4 overall on the year including a 6-1-2 record in NEAC action while the Bison are now 1-13-1 overall on the season with a 1-8 mark in conference play.Â

Chris Gardener, Hudson, N.Y., Hudson High School, stole a pass in front of the Gallaudet goal and scored unassisted to make it 3-2.
But Gallaudet proved stubborn to put away as the Bison scored in the 89
th minute to make it 3-2 forcing the Fighting Tigers to respond in the 90

nd when they are scheduled to travel to Harrisburg, Pa. for a NEAC match-up with the Nittany Lions of Penn State Harrisburg with kick-off scheduled for 12:00 p.m.
