North Adams, Mass.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team closed the non-league portion of the 2019 schedule on Tuesday evening by dropping a 3-1 decision to the host Trailblazers of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) by set scores of 23-25, 25-18, 25-16 and 25-11. With the loss the Fighting Tigers are currently 12-13 overall on the season to date while MCLA improves to 18-9 overall on the year.

Senior libero Mikayla Catherman, Marcellus, N.Y., Marcellus High School, turned in a strong effort for the visitors with 26 digs, eight service aces, four digs and a kill on the evening while junior middle hitter Rachel Burke, West Winfield, N.Y., Mount Markham High School, chipped in five kills and three total blocks for the Orange & Black.

Cobleskill will close their 2019 season on Wednesday, October 30^th when they travel to Morrisville, N.Y. for a North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) meeting with the Mustangs of Morrisville State with first serve set for 7:00 p.m.
