Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team defeat the visiting Express of Wells College on Saturday afternoon by a score of 2-1 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action. With the win the Fighting Tigers are now 3-7-1 overall on the season with a 1-3-1 mark in conference play while Wells is now 0-8 including a 0-5 league record.

th minute after Mackenzie Powers scored for the visitors. The Tigers bounced back in style when sophomore forward
Chloe Antalek (Wappingers Falls, N.Y./Beacon High School) flicked a header to freshman
Anna Post (Bovina Center, N.Y./Delaware Academy) for a breakaway in the 46
th minute to tie the game up at 1-1. The Fighting Tigers kept pushing for the game winner and were awarded a corner kick in the 55
th minute. Rebecca Bruno (Middleburgh, N.Y./Middleburgh High School) found
Chloe Antalek for a beautiful volley to give the Tigers a 2-1 lead over Wells and eventually the win.Â
The Tigers defense had an outstanding game only allowing 4 total shots. Sophomore keeper
Abigail Wetsel (Schoharie, N.Y./Schoharie) recorded 2 saves on the evening. Â
Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday October 12
th when they host the Nittany Lions of Penn State Berks for a NEAC contest beginning at 3:00 p.m.
