Elmira, N.Y.: Trailing the Soaring Eagles of Elmira College by an 14-4 margin going to the top of the seventh inning, with winds swirling at up to 23 miles per hour; the SUNY Cobleskill men's baseball team staged an epic comeback effort striking for 15 runs in the frame to post a 19-17 victory over their hosts on Wednesday afternoon in non-conference play. With the comeback win the Fighting Tigers improve to 6-10 overall on the season while the Soaring Eagles fall to 3-15 overall on the campaign.

Joseph Ciatto, Patterson, N.Y., Carmel High School, who had a single to lead-off the miracle seventh to go with a walk and a pair of runs scored in the inning, as part of at 2-for-5 for the day while freshman catcher D.J. McMahon, Poestenkill, N.Y., La Salle Institute, was also 2-for-5 on the day with four RBI and two runs scored. Sophomore center fielder
Mitchell Holmes, Dartmouth, Mass., Bristol County Agricultural High School, also played a major role in the win going 2-for-5 with four RBI and a run scored as did freshman right fielder
