Late Cold Spell Costs the Fighting Tigers in 67-63 NEAC Loss to Nittany Lions

Abington, Pa.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team returned to North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) action on Saturday afternoon traveling to Pennsylvania to lose to the host Nittany Lions of Penn State Abington by a 67-63 margin in league action. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers are now 6-5 overall including a 1-1 mark in NEAC action while the Nittany Lions improve to 4-6 overall with a 2-0 record in conference play.

However that would be the last points for the visitors in the contest as down the stretch the Nittany Lions' defense would stiffen holding the Fighting Tigers to 0-for-5 from the field to secure the come from behind conference win on the strength of a 9-0 run to close out the action.
