Harrisburg, Pa.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team ended their North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) Pennsylvania road trip on Sunday afternoon by dropping a hard hitting decision to the host Nittany Lions of Penn State Harrisburg by a 79-67 margin. With the loss Cobleskill is now 6-6 overall on the season including a 1-2 mark in NEAC action while the Nittany Lions are currently 4-8 overall with a 2-1 record in conference play.
Senior guard
Erica Cabrera, Middletown High School, Burke Catholic High School, led the Fighting Tigers in scoring with 19 points on the afternoon to go with seven rebounds and four assists while senior center
Gabby Muraczewski, Hamilton Square, N.J. Southern Regional High School, added 10 points and seven rebounds. Sophomore guard
TyLysa Martinez, Coram, N.Y., Longwood High School, was also a double figure scorer for the Orange & Black with 10 points along with five rebounds and two assists on the afternoon.
The Fighting Tigers will return home on Wednesday January 15
th for a NEAC meeting with the Wolves of Keuka College as part of a men's/women's doubleheader with the men's game tipping off at 5:00 p.m. followed by the women's game at 7:00 p.m.
