Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team returned home on Friday evening to defeat the visiting Bison of Gallaudet University by a score of 83-77 in North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) play. With the win the Fighting Tigers move to 11-13 including a 6-9 record in NEAC play while the Bison are now 9-15 with a 7-8 conference record.
Once again the Fighting Tigers turned to their post players to deliver the victory by dominating the inside action as senior center
Gabby Muraczewski, Hamilton Square, N.J., Southern Regional High School, scored 22 points to go with a game high of 15 rebounds with freshman forward
Anna Post, Bovina Center, N.Y., Delaware Academy, hitting for 22 points and grabbing 12 rebounds in the win. Junior guard
Nylasia Sutton, Queens, N.Y., Lansingburgh High School/Herkimer Community College, was also a factor in the victory with 18 points and three assists on the evening.
Cobleskill will close the regular season on Saturday afternoon, February 22
nd, when they host the Chargers of Lancaster Bible College in NEAC action at the Iorio Gymnasium with tip-off slated for 3:00 p.m.
