Fighting Tigers Currently 6-2 Overall Off to Best Start in Program History

Yaphank, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill baseball continued their winning ways on Sunday afternoon splitting a doubleheader with the Trailblazers of Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) taking three-of-four games over the weekend from MCLA losing the opener by a 13-6 margin then coming back from eight runs down to take the nightcap in eight innings by a score of 10-9 in games played at the Baseball Heaven Complex. With the split Cobleskill moves to 6-2 overall on the season while MCLA is now 1-3 on the campaign.

Williams then scored on a sacrifice fly to right field by junior third baseman Chris Kordziel, Rotterdam, N.Y., Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons High School/Hudson Valley Community College, to give the Orange & Black the walk-off win.

Junior pitcher Kristopher Bulman, Williamson, N.Y., Williamson High School, earned the victory in relief by going 6 1/3 innings allowing one run on six hits.
