Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team closed out their weekend North Atlantic Conference (NAC) road trip on Saturday afternoon defeating the host Kangaroos of SUNY Canton by a 3-0 margin by set scores of 25-22, 25-22 and 25-19. With the victory the Fighting Tigers improve to 7-11 overall with a 3-3 record in NAC action while Canton falls to 2-17 overall including a 2-5 conference record.

Alexis Miranda, Nashua, N.H., Nashua North High School, dominated at the net with eight kills and four total blocks while sophomore outside hitter
Abigail Scheurich, Oxford, Conn., Nonnewaug High School, chipped in eight kills, six digs and three total blocks on the evening.
The Fighting Tigers also received strong contributions from sophomore libero
Kelley Miller, Fort Mill, S.C., Fort Mill High School, who tallied 12 digs, five service aces and two assists with senior setter Mackenzie Larson, Cazenovia, N.Y., Cazenovia High School/Onondaga Community College, adding 23 assists, four total blocks, three digs and a pair of kills to the team's victory totals.
Cobleskill will return to action on Wednesday, October 20, when they host the Spartans of Castleton University for a non-conference contest with first serve scheduled for 7:00 p.m.
