Utica, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team posted their first road victory of the season on Tuesday evening traveling to Utica College to out battle the Pioneers 3-2 by set scores of 25-13, 25-22, 20-25, 23-25 and 15-11 in non-conference action. With the win the Fighting Tigers are now 4-8 overall on the season to date while the Pioneers drop to 3-9 on the year.

MacKenzie Larson, Winterset, Iowa, Winterset High School, who pounded out 11 kills, 12 service aces to go with 19 digs, sophomore middle hitter
Alexis Miranda, Nashua, N.H., Nashua High School, who posted a match high of 17 kills along with three digs and a block, and senior
Jillian Nitchman, Ballston Spa, N.Y., Ballston Spa High School, with nine kills, four digs and three blocks who led the Cobleskill attack.
The visitors also received strong play from senior setter
Maleigha Ellithorpe, Cazenovia, N.Y., Cazenovia High School/Onondaga Community College, with a season high 42 assists to go with 15 digs and from sophomore libero
Victoria O'Bar, Middlebury, Conn., Nonnewaug High School, with 20 digs, three assists and two service aces. Sophomore opposite side hitter
Abigail Scheurich, Oxford, Conn., Nonnewaug High School, provided additional support to the team's victory totals with eight kills and a block in the contest.
The Orange & Black will return to action on Wednesday September 29 when they host the Broncos of SUNY Delhi in their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) opener at the Iorio Gymnasium with first serve at 7:00 p.m.
