SUNY Cobleskill's Eamonn Sullivan Named NAC XC Rookie-of-the-Week

First-Year Harrier Named NAC X-Country Rookie-of-the-Week


Waterville, Maine: The North Atlantic Conference (NAC) announced today that SUNY Cobleskill first-year runner Eamonn Sullivan, Wappingers Falls, N.Y., Fordham Preparatory School, has been named the league's NAC Men's Cross Country Rookie-of-the-Week for the week ending September 5, 2021.

Sullivan led the Fighting Tigers to the team title over a nine-team field at 2021 SUNY Poly Short Course Invitational hosted by SUNY Polytechnic Institute on the Wildcats home course in Marcy, N.Y. winning the race's individual title over a 65-runner field by covering the 6000-meter course in a time of 19:02.5.

The Fordham Preparatory School alumnus becomes the first SUNY Cobleskill run to earn NAC Cross Country Rookie-of-the-Week honors in the program's first year of NAC membership.

Cobleskill will return to action on Saturday September 11 when they host the 2021 Steven A. Warde Invitational at the college's cross country course beginning at 10:30 a.m.
