Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill Athletic Department announced today that first-year athlete
Claire Knowlton, Gouverneur, N.Y., Gouverneur High School, a member of the women's swimming & diving team has been named of the program's Fighting Tiger Athlete-of-the-Week for the week ending January 23, 2022.
Knowlton was the Fighting Tigers top scorer at a triangular meet hosted by Wells College in Aurora, N.Y. on Saturday afternoon. The Gouverneur, N.Y. native placed second place in the 100-yard freestyle in 1:11.81 and a third place finish in the 200-yard freestyle 2:34.72.
Cobleskill will next be in action on Thursday January 27 when they travel to Bronxville, N.Y. for a dual meet with the Gryphons of Sarah Lawrence College beginning at 5:00 p.m.
