SUNY Cobleskill Women's Swimming & Diving Suffer 72-28 Loss at Sarah Lawrence College

Fighting Tigers Dunked at Sarah Lawrence 72-28


Bronxville, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's swimming & diving team traveled to Sarah Lawrence College on Thursday losing to the Gryphons by a 72-48 margin in the team's tune-up for the upcoming North Atlantic Conference (NAC) Championships. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers close the season with a 3-4 record in head-to-head competition.

Cobleskill received a pair of individual victories at the event as first-year Claire Knowlton, Gouverneur, N.Y., Gouverneur High School, won the 500-yard freestyle in a time of 7:01.06 fellow first-year Calista Bernard, Peru, N.Y., Home Schooled, winning the 100-yard breaststroke in a time of 2:27.13

The Orange & Black will next be in action when they travel to Bangor, Maine for the 2022 NAC Swimming & Diving Championships hosted by Husson University from Friday February 4 thru Sunday February 6 at the Eagles' William P. Newman Athletic Facility's Webber Pool.
