Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team dropped a heartbreaker on Saturday afternoon to the visiting Wildcats of Cazenovia College in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action 3-2 by set scores of 20-25, 26-24, 25-20, 19-25 and 11-15. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fell to 3-12 overall including a 1-3 record in league action while the Wildcats improve to 7-14 overall with a 3-3 mark in NAC contests.
The Fighting Tigers held a 2-1 advantage going into the fourth set which saw the visitors break a 7-7 tie by going on a 13-to-6 run making the score 20-13 giving them the breathing room they needed to secure the win and tie the match at 2-2 heading into a deciding fifth set.
After falling behind early in the fifth set, Cobleskill tied the contest at 6-6 before a 4-1 run by the Wildcats gave them a 10-7 lead from which they never looked back.

MacKenzie Larson, Winterset, Iowa, Winterset High School, turned in a strong showing in defeat with 14 kills, 15 digs and five service aces while junior outside hitter
Alexis Miranda, Nashua, N.H., Nashua North High School, turned in a 19-kill effort on the evening. Junior setter
Kasey Orlowski, Hewitt, N.J., Milford High School, was also a factor in the match with 43 assists and five digs in the match.
The Fighting Tigers will close out the weekend homestand on Sunday with a NAC Triangular Match when they host the Kangaroos of SUNY Canton at 1:00 p.m. followed at 5:00 p.m. with a conference contest against the Wildcats of the SUNY Polytechnic Institute.
