Saratoga Springs, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill hunt seat equestrian team posted opened the 2022 portion of their schedule in impressive fashion on Saturday as the Fighting Tigers scored a total of 29 points to place second overall in a field of nine teams at an Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone 2 Region 3 Show hosted by Skidmore College at the Van Lennep Riding Center in Saratoga Springs, N.Y.
Cobleskill was led by senior
Sheila Sanders, Spencertown, N.Y., Chatham High School, who took a first place in the Novice Equitation. With her effort the Fighting Tiger senior has now qualified for the IHSA Zone 2 Region 3 Regional Championship Show.
The Fighting Tigers will next be in action on February 26 for an IHSA competition hosted by Hartwick College at the Hunter's Rein facility in Otego, N.Y. beginning at 10:00 a.m.
