Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team returned to their home court on Sunday afternoon to lose to their North Atlantic Conference (NAC) rivals from The SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) by a score of 77-62 in league action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers are now 3-16 overall including a 2-7 record in league play while the Wildcats improve to15-9 with a 10-2 mark in NAC play.
The Wildcats dominated the inside action throughout the contest holding a 54-33 advantage on the glass and held a 46-to-16 advantage in points in the paint to secure the victory.
Cobleskill was led by junior swingman
Kevin Cadet, Roselle, N.J., Roselle High School, who tallied 14 points and grabbed four rebounds and by senior guard
Mike McKoy, Charlotte, N.C., Statesville Christian High School, who scored nine points in his final home game.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Tuesday February 8 when they travel to Cazenovia, N.Y. for a conference contest versus the Wildcats of Cazenovia College starting at 5:30 p.m.
