Saratoga Springs, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill hunt seat equestrian team competed over the weekend at the 2022 Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) Zone 2 Region 3 Championships hosted by Skidmore College at the Van Lennep Riding Center over the weekend.

The Fighting Tigers closed the season placing fifth among the 10 teams riding in the region this season with two Cobleskill individual riders moving on to the 2022 Zone 2 Championships in two weeks.

Senior Julianna Ciccotelli, Hillsborough, N.J. Hillsborough High School, was the team's top finisher at the event capturing the region's championship in the Introductory Level while senior Amelia Von Korff, Richmondville, N.Y., Paul D. Schreiber High School, took second place overall in the Reserve Category at the event.

Ciccotelli and Von Korff will next represent Cobleskill at the 2022 IHSA Zone 2 Finals to be hosted by Saint Lawrence University on Saturday April 9 in Canton, N.Y. at the Elsa Gunnison Appleton Riding Hall beginning at 8:30 a.m.
