Cobleskill, N.Y.: Coming off a seven day stretch that saw them involved in three physical contests, the SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team limped into Sunday's game versus the Pioneers of Utica University with a depleted roster that led to a 3-0 loss to the visitors at the Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. With the defeat the Fighting Tigers fall to 0-4-1 overall on the season while the Pioneers are now 2-1 on the year.

With a number of their reserves playing in unfamiliar positions, Cobleskill kept the game close through the first 57 minutes trailing 1-0 until the Pioneers scored the second of their three goals to put the contest out of reach.

The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Saturday September 17 when they take to the road to open their 2022 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) season meeting the host Kangaroos of SUNY Canton in Canton, N.Y. with kick-off at 1:00 p.m.
