Canton, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team opened their 2022 North Atlantic Conference (NAC) season on Saturday by dropping an 8-0 decision to the host Kangaroos of SUNY Canton. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 0-5-1 overall on the year with a 0-1 record in league play while the Kangaroos are now 2-4 overall on the season with a 1-0 record in NAC play.

Cobleskill faced a determine Canton squad that converted on 8-of-11 shot attempts on the afternoon as the visitors scored in the third minute and the fifth minute of play to effectively decided the outcome of the contest.

The Fighting Tigers will close their weekend road trip to the New York north country on Sunday when they meet the Bears for a non-league contest with kick-off slated for 11:00 a.m.
