Aurora, N.Y.: After two seasons of pandemic related inactivity, the SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team posted their first victory of the 2022 campaign, taking to the road to stop The Express of host Wells College by a 5-2 margin in non-conference action. With the victory the Fighting Tigers even their overall record at 1-1 on the season while Wells falls to 0-1-1 on the year.
Cobleskill struck first in the 15
th minute of play when first-year forward
Ashlynn DeRonda, Saugerties, N.Y., Saugerties High School, scored the first of her two goals to give the visitors a 1-0 advantage.
After Wells tied the contest in the 34
th minute the Fighting Tigers benefited from a Wells own goal in the 54
th minute to give them a 2-1 advantage from which they never looked back as DeRonda the eventual game winner, her second of the day in the 61
st minute to make it 3-1.

th minute to make it 5-2.
