Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's volleyball team opened the home portion of their schedule on Wednesday evening dropping a 3-1 decision to the visiting Pioneers of Utica College by set scores of 14-25, 25-21, 15-25 and 23-25 at the Iorio Gymnasium. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 1-3 overall on the season while the Pioneers improve to 3-1 on the year.

MacKenzie Larson (Winterset, IA/Winterset)Â who posted a team high of 18 kills to go with 11 digs and a solo block and junior middle hitter
Alexis Miranda, Nashua, N.H., Nashua North High School, who had 15 kills and four digs on the night.

Kasey Orlowski, Hewitt, N.J., West Milford High School, was also a factor in the match with 34 assists, nine digs and a kill on the evening.
The Fighting Tigers will return to the road on Saturday September 10 when they travel to New London, Conn. for the Mitchell College Triangular Meet when they face the host Mariners of Mitchell at 12:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. meeting with the Rams of Suffolk University.
