Keuka Park, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's basketball team took to the road on Tuesday evening to drop a 91-71 decision to the host Wolves of Keuka College in non-conference action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 3-3 overall on the season while the Wolves improve to 1-3 overall on the year to date.
The Wolves took advantage of their home court going 30-for-66 from the field, 45.5%, while taking advantage of the Cobleskill defense to get to the line 36 times on the evening converting on 25 attempts to post the victory.
The Fighting Tigers were led in scoring by sophomore guard
Kobe Long, Rochester, N.Y., McQuade Jesuit High School, who scored a game high of 26 point to go with five rebounds and two steals and by sophomore forward
Chace Peterson, Troy, N.Y., Troy High School, who reached double figures in scoring with 11 points. Junior center
Jermaine Wheeler, Manhattan, N.Y., Marist High School, turned in another solid effort of the bench in the contest with nine points and nine rebounds.
Cobleskill will return to action on Sunday November 26 when they travel to Troy, N.Y. to meet the Engineers of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) in non-conference action with tip-off at 12:00 p.m.
