Quincy, Mass.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team opened North Atlantic Conference (NAC) with a strong showing on Tuesday evening mauling the host Lions of Eastern Nazarene College (ENC) 86-45. With the victory the Fighting Tigers extend their season opening winning streak to six games moving their overall record to 6-0 including a 1-0 record in league action while the Lions fall to 4-3 overall with a 0-1 record to open conference play.
The Fighting Tigers turned in their best offensive effort of the season to date to open league play as the visitors converted on 37-of-72 shots from the field, 51.4%, including 10-of-23 from three-point range, 43.5%, with 30 of their 37 field goals coming via assists.

Logan Thayne, Hoosick Falls, N.Y., Hoosick Falls High School, led the way for the Orange & Black dominating the paint with 18 points, five rebounds and three blocked shots while junior guard
Antonia May, Amsterdam, N.Y., Amsterdam High School, controlled the outside with 17 points, seven rebounds and three assists on the evening. Sophomore center/forward
Emily Satterday, Latham, N.Y., Shaker High School, was also a factor in the victory with 14 points and nine rebounds in a reserve role.
The Cobleskill will next be in action on Saturday December 2 when they host conference rival Morrisville State College in NAC action beginning at 3:00 p.m.
