Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's basketball team continued their winning ways on Saturday afternoon as the Fighting Tigers extended their season opening winning streak to seven games by defeating the visiting Mustangs of Morrisville State College 70-32 in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action. With the victory the Fighting Tigers are now 7-0 overall on the year with a 2-0 mark in NAC play while the Mustangs fall to 3-7 overall including a 1-1 record in league play.
The Fighting Tiger blanketed the Mustangs' offense throughout the contest holding the visitors to 13-of-64, 20.3%, including only 4-for-25, 16.0%, from three-point range while forcing the visitors into turnovers on the afternoon. Cobleskill also dominated the glass throughout the contest by a 71-to-41 margin.

Logan Thayne, Hoosick Falls, N.Y., Hoosick Falls High School, who posted her third consecutive double/double of the week with 12 points and 11 rebounds to go with four blocked shots and three steals and by junior point guard
Taylor Meacham, Berne, N.Y., Berne-Knox-Westerlo High School, who also had a double/double with 10 points and 10 rebounds. Junior forward
Cara Walker, Phelps, N.Y., Midlakes High School, who had eight points, eight rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocked shots.
The Fighting Tigers will return to action on Wednesday December 6 when they host the Red Dragons of Oneonta State College with tip-off at 6:00 p.m.
