Alfred, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team made the long trip to Alfred State College on Saturday afternoon to drop a 6-0 decision to the host Pioneers in non-conference action. The loss drops the Fighting Tigers to 0-3 overall on the season while Alfred improves to a perfect 4-0 overall on the campaign.

The Pioneers jumped out to a first half 4-0 advantage to decide the outcome as the home team held a 20-3 advantage in shots and a 10-1 advantage in corner kicks on the afternoon.

Cobleskill will next be in action on Wednesday September 13 when they travel to Albany, N.Y. for a non-league meeting with the Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton College of Albany in a game to be played at Afrims Sports Park with kick-off at 7:00 p.m.
