North Adams, Mass.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team continued their extended season opening road trip on Tuesday afternoon dropping a 7-1 decision to the Trailblazers of the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) in non-conference action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers are now 0-3-1 overall on the year while the Trailblazers improve to 1-1-1 overall.
Trailing 3-0 at the half, the Fighting Tigers came out of the locker room aggressively as first-year forward
Jojo Leubner, Marcellus, N.Y., Marcellus High School, worked her way through the Trailblazer defense to find the back of the home team's net in the 55
th minute of play to make it 3-1 MCLA.
However that would be as close as the visitors would get as MCLA would score the next four goals of the half to secure the victory outshouting the Orange & Black by a 31-9 margin on the afternoon.
Cobleskill will return to action on Saturday September 16 when the Fighting Tigers travel to Quincy, Mass., to open North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action versus the Lions of Eastern Nazarene College at Veterans Memorial Stadium beginning at 2:30 p.m. Ā Ā
