Cobleskill, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill men's soccer team returned home to the Soccer/Lax Complex on Wednesday afternoon to battle the visiting Panthers of the Albany College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences (ACPHS) to a scoreless tie in non-league action. With the tie to the Fighting Tigers are now 1-4-1 overall on the season to date while the Panthers move to 1-2-1 overall on the campaign.
With six players on the injured reserve list heading into the game, the Fighting Tigers adopted a defensive posture throughout the contest turning back an ACPHS attack that took 19 shots on the afternoon along with five corner kicks on the afternoon.

Adam Champlin (South Kortright, N.Y.) turned in an exceptional effort in net for the home team with seven saves including several spectacular efforts to record his first career shutout at the college level.
Cobleskill will return to action on Saturday, September 23, when they travel to Morrisville, N.Y. for one of the oldest rivalries in New York State soccer history when they meet the host Mustangs of Morrisville State College for a North Atlantic Conference (NAC) match-up with kick-off slated for 5:00 p.m. Ā
