Morrisville, N.Y.: The SUNY Cobleskill women's soccer team took to the road once again on Saturday afternoon to drop a 4-1 decision to the host Mustangs of Morrisville State College in North Atlantic Conference (NAC) action. With the loss the Fighting Tigers fall to 0-6-1 overall on the year including a 0-2 mark in NAC play while the Mustangs improve to 3-3-1 overall including a 2-0-1 record in league action.

The first half told the story of the contest as the Mustangs jumped out to a 4-0 advantage at the half and never looked back as the home team used a 20-1 shot advantage to secure the victory.

The Fighting Tiger defense stiffened in the second half holding Morrisville scoreless and then cut the lead to 4-1 in the 71^st minute when first-year midfielder Miah Lathrop, Rochester, N.Y., Rush-Henrietta High School, found the back of the net for her fifth goal of the year.

Cobleskill will return to action on Wednesday September 27 when they host the Bobcats of Bryant & Stratton College-Albany in non-league action beginning at 4:00 p.m.
