Cobleskill, NY: The Cobleskill men's soccer team came back from behind in the second half and defeated VTSU-Johnson 2-1, Saturday afternoon in NAC play at the Soccer/Lacrosse Complex. The Fighting Tigers improve to 2-5-1 overall and 1-2 in the conference. The Badgers dropped to 0-8 and 0-3.

th minute to give the Tigers the win. Freshman

John Posanti (West Islip, NY/ West Islip) collected assists for Cobleskill.

Adam Champlin (South Kortright, NY/ South Kortright) finished the game with three saves and picked up his second win on the season.

Cobleskill were the aggressors in the first half, registering 12 shots and five on target, but the Tigers couldn't find the back of the net thanks to some excellent saves by Johnson's goalie Dylan Haskins.
At the half, the Tigers held the advantages in shots (12-3) and corners (3-0) over VTSU-Johnson.

It was the visiting Badgers in the 66
th minute that scored the first goal of the game after a shot was deflected in by Hector Longstreth. It took only five minutes for the Tigers to respond as Posanti found the head of Staubitz off a corner kick to tie the game up, 1-1. Then, with only ten minutes left to play, it was seniors Streeter and DePaulo that stepped up on Senior Day to give Cobleskill a 2-1 lead that the Tigers would hold on to till full time.

Cobleskill held the advantage with 28 shots (11 on target) to Johnson's 7 shots (4 on target). The Tigers finished with 13 corners including 10 in the second half.

The Fighting Tigers will be in action next Tuesday, October 3
rd at 4:45 p.m. as they travel down to Brooklyn, NY to face Pratt Institute in a non-conference matchup at Randall's Island.
