The third quarter opened with Alfred State pushing their lead to eight, but Cobleskill responded with an 11-2 run fueled by Thayne's offensive rebounding and scoring, tying the game at 38-38. Meacham's layup capped the rally, putting Cobleskill up 42-40, and they entered the final period leading 49-45.
Cobleskill dominated the fourth quarter, outscoring Alfred State 16-5. Meacham's fastbreak layup early in the quarter set the tone, and
Annie Canales (North Adams, Mass./Hoosac Valley) extended the lead with a three-pointer to make it 57-45. Cobleskill's defense held firm, sealing a 65-50 win.
