Cobleskill Hunt Seat Team Shines in Fall Finale at Skidmore College

Cobleskill Finishes Fall Season Tied for Second Overall with Strong Performances Across the Board

Saratoga Springs, NY: The women's equestrian hunt seat team wrapped up their fall season with an impressive performance at Skidmore College in their final show of the semester. The Fighting Tigers finished the fall season tied for second place overall with 155 points, marking a strong position heading into the spring season.

Each rider contributed to the team's success, earning individual accolades in both over-fences and flat classes.

Sophia Scala-Palladino (Pine Bush, NY) delivered a standout performance, claiming first place over fences and a third-place finish on the flat, demonstrating poise and precision. Similarly, Oksana Wynnick (Champlin, NY/Northeastern Clinton Central) impressed with her versatility, securing third over fences and second on the flat to contribute valuable points.

Other notable over-fences performances included Sage Badman (Fabius, NY/Fabius-Pompey), Mackenzie Caldwell (Baldwinsville, NY/Charles W. Baker), and Samantha Williams (Owego, NY/Chenango Forks), each earning third-place finishes, while Erin Hayes (Holland, NY/St. Mary's) and Amber Reilly (Morris, NY) added depth with fourth- and fifth-place finishes, respectively. Casey Van Nostrand (Guilderland, NY) rounded out the group with a sixth-place over-fences finish.

On the flat, Leta Bernhardt (Williamson, NY) delivered a stellar ride to claim second place, while Alexandra Covert (Brockport, NY), Makenzie Driscoll (Binghamton, NY/Chenango Forks), Courtney Palmer (Middletown, NY/Pine Bush), and Zoe Conklin (Streling, CT/Killingly) each turned in solid fourth-place finishes. Ceilia McFarland (Kingston, NY) earned a third-place finish, showcasing her technical proficiency, while Alyse Bechtold (Oneonta, NY) and Casey Van Nostrand contributed with sixth- and fourth-place finishes, respectively.
